Let’s Start Scrapbooking with Polly Maly—The warm weather is upon, which means lots of sporting events, school activities and vacations coming up. There’s never been a better time to learn to scrapbook! Polly Maly, contributing editor for Better Homes & Gardens Scrapbooks etc. magazine, will be here to guide you through your first scrapbook page, and coach you as you dig into the wonderful world of scrapbooking. Polly will walk you through everything you need to start scrapbooking that night! You’ll learn how to shop for supplies, “Scraplift” the page shown using your own photos, choose tools, albums, and more, and get the most out of your valuable scrapbook products. You’ll receive with your class fee: 1) the supplies needed to assemble your version of the page displayed, 2) a copy of Let’s Start Scrapbooking: the can-do guide for beginners from the editors of “Scrapbooks etc.” magazine and 3) personalized coaching from Polly. Class size is limited. Ask for supply list upon registration.
Stamp Club—get together with other stamping enthusiasts to learn more about artistic rubber stamping and techniques.
Flowers and Lace (Frost It)—learn how easy it is to use embossing paste in this delightful class.

9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Scrapbook Convention—At the HyVee Hall in Des Moines! Get your admission discount coupon here at the store! When you are at the convention, stop by our booth for a free make-n-take! Look in your convention program for a special coupon to be used here at the store! OD/HBD will also be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12.
Cards with Punch— create some delightful greeting cards using classic decorative paper punches.
Friday, April 18 6:00-11:00 p.m. $10 Late Night Crop—You deserve a break today so grab a friend (and your latest scrapbooking project) and join us for a quick little get away at our late night crop! Snacks and companionship provided. Cost: $10
Saturday, May 3 1-4 p.m. $25 —Need to get some TEEN layouts created? Then this is the class for you. We will be creating 6 pages using the new “extreme” papers and embellishments from BoBunny. Choose to do Extreme Teen Boy or Extreme Teen Girl.

Tuesday, May 20 6:30-8:30 p.m. $17 Stencil Magic—Learn another way to use brass stencils using JAC paper and glitter to create a dramatic, glitzy look. Traditional dry embossing will also be taught in this class. Please bring scuffers and a tape runner.
